Bond Health recently conducted a tailored workshop at Oatlands College, focusing on skincare and scalp health for 25 sixth-year students. The workshop aimed to educate students on the essentials of maintaining healthy skin and the often-overlooked aspect of scalp care.
- Skin and Scalp Basics: The session began with an overview of different skin types and common scalp issues, empowering students to identify their specific needs
- Practical Skincare Tips: Bond Health experts shared practical tips on skincare routines, emphasising regular cleansing, moisturising, and sun protection.
- Nutrition and Skin Health: The workshop explored the connection between diet and skin, encouraging students to make informed nutritional choices for better skin health.
- Stress Management: Students learned stress management techniques, recognising the link between mental well-being and skin conditions.
The workshop included interactive elements, allowing students to ask questions, participate in discussions, and try out product samples for a hands-on experience.
Feedback from students and faculty was positive, indicating increased awareness and a positive shift in attitudes towards self-care and hygiene.
Bond Health’s workshop at Oatlands College successfully instilled a culture of self-care and health awareness among sixth-year students, contributing to their overall well-being and personal development. Initiatives like these play a vital role in shaping a generation that prioritises not only academic success but also a holistic approach to health and happiness.
The Bond Health Skin + Scalp Workshop was an excellent experience for our 6th year students. Our students (of a male only post-primary school) engaged exceptionally well with the workshop and the speakers made the workshop interesting, informative, and interactive. They made it an inclusive environment for all students to ask questions and take part to the best of their abilities, and ensured they felt comfortable in taking part. More students got involved as the workshop went on and I think all post-primary school students, male or female, would benefit from this informative workshop. We will 100% be booking with Bond Health again.
